Between 2002 and 2007, Balázs worked as a legal counselor for the back then independently existing tax authority, the Hungarian Customs and Finance Guard, mainly in procedural representation (procedures regarding labor law and administrational law). Regarding Hungary’s accession to the European Union, he took part in the re-organization of the Hungarian Customs and Finance Guard which affected thousands of people. During this procedure he was able to have an insight to the world of labor law, including the main and departmental rules of individual and the collective labor law, also procedural labor law. Balázs established his individual law firm in 2007, which focuses mainly on labor law, tax and customs law, insurance law and construction industry law. Balázs has relevant knowledge on the field of public service labor law (higher education, governmental administration). Since 2017 he is co-operating with HBK Partners in the field of labor law, by providing legal representation for significant market weigh financial institutes.
